Philosophy and programming
Les petites mains d'Or à Sophie is a french educational family daycare. I help the children to develop to their fullest
, through play, daily routines and a weekly program, physical activities, the arts and our environment, respect and property. Each child is encourage to develop at their own individual pace. By being a positive influence in their lives, and giving them a sense of self worth I believe it allows them to gain the confidence they need to explore new experiences and adventures in a safe, loving, and fun environment. 
I also believe that when confidence is gained the child achieve his goal with a positive mind and a high self-esteem. The communication becomes easier and the integration in a group is made easy. The confidence gained becomes a "treasure" they will cherish all of their lives.
My main goal is to help them develop their "treasure".
My program strive to meet each child's individual needs and to help them develop in 4 critical categories, social, emoti
onal, physical, cognitive. I encourage the children to respect people, the exploration of the arts and our environments. I also encourage property. My daily schedule includes group activity, individual activities, physical activities and quiet times. We play outside every day(weather permitting).
